Adobe Certification: Hottest Certifications for Job Seekers   by Wayne Hemrick

The job market has not been nice to those who have been looking. There are too few jobs and too many people. Employers demands are higher than they have ever been. This means you must have an edge. You must have Adobe certification and adobe training.

Learning some or all aspects of the Adobe programming languages is a great way for you to help yourself. With programs like Flex, AIR, ColdFusion, and LiveCycle being so prominent for developing custom websites and software, Adobe training is not only a should have, it’s pretty much a must have.

There is a variety of adobe training available, from onsite classes to online classes, from your own pace classes to condensed classes. With so much flexibility, it is easy to find an Adobe certification program ideal for you needs and situation.

Among the most sought after is knowledge of LiveCycle, ColdFusion, AIR, and Flex. Some of the abilities of these programs transcend each other, while others are fully unique. The basics of each are as follows:

Flex: Known for its versatility, Flex is a program with virtually limitless abilities. One of the benefits of Flex is that it works with Flash (though you don’t need to know Flash to learn Flex). This is beneficial because Flash is on nearly every computer around.

ColdFusion: With similarities to PHP, ColdFusion is a rapid application development platform known for simplifying the connections between HTML code and databases. It can be used for a variety of things, among some of the most common are developing interactive interfaces. In Adobe training, students typically learn the ColdFusion programming languages, ColdFusion Server, CFScript, and ColdFusion Builder.

AIR: Adobe AIR, or Adobe Integrated Runtime, gives coders the ability to design rich internet applications using either, HTML, Flash, or Ajax, or Flex. These applications are unique in that they can be deployed as desktop applications.

LiveCycle: Adobe LiveCycle has been implemented to design a variety of applications in several different industries. Just like all Adobe products, LiveCycle is known for being versatile, and adaptable to a plethora of needs and demands. These training sessions involve exercises, lectures, and hands on training.

Before beginning any kind of adobe certification or Adobe training, it is a good idea to have some knowledge of a mainstream computer language, such as C++ or Java. This will make the classes and training go as smooth as possible.
